MSc Molecular BiosciencesApplication

We welcome applications from students who have earned, or expect to earn, a relevant bachelor's degree with a grade above average (Guidelines: German system: minimum 2.4; UK system: 2.1 or better.) by the end of the academic year preceding the desired semester of entry. Many of the applicants are in their final year of their Bachelor.

Subjects should generally focus on some aspect of the biological sciences, but students with other relevant degrees, e.g. in chemistry or physics, may be considered for some courses (see relevant web links for more information).

The application portal will open in February.

The deadline for the next round of selection is March 15, 2024.

Program start date: October each year.

When applying, you are expected to indicate your preferred major and any second preference. The number of available seats in each major is limited. Initial selection is based on grades earned to date and other relevant qualifications and experience. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview.

Status of the procedure

No certification is required for application. The check will be postponed until enrollment.
