ForschungERC grants

Der Europäische Forschungsrat (ERC) fördert Spitzen­wissen­schaftler*innen, um die Grundlagen­forschung und vi­sio­näre Projekte voran­zu­treiben und neue Wissens­ge­bie­te zu erschließen.

Zu den Förderlinien gehören der Starting, der Consolidator, der Advanced sowie der Synergy Grant. Wissenschaftler*innen der Universität Heidelberg haben seit 2008 insgesamt 89 ERC Grants (inkl. Brückenprofessuren) erhalten.

  • Starting Grants (bis zu 1,5 Mio. EUR über 5 Jahre): Der ERC Starting Grant richtet sich an vielversprechende Nachwuchswissenschaftler am Beginn ihrer wissenschaftlichen Karriere.
  • Consolidator Grants (bis zu 2 Mio. EUR über 5 Jahre): Mit den ERC Consolidator Grants werden exzellente Nachwuchswissenschaftler mit 7 bis 12 Jahren Erfahrung nach der Promotion gefördert.
  • Advanced Grants (bis zu 2,5 Mio. EUR über 5 Jahre): Der ERC Advanced Grant wendet sich an herausragende, bereits etablierte Forscher.
  • Synergy Grants (bis zu 10 Mio. EUR über 6 Jahre): Mit den ERC Synergy Grants werden zukunftsweisende Forschungsprojekte gefördert, die aufgrund ihrer Komplexität nicht von einzelnen Wissenschaftlern und ihren Gruppen bearbeitet werden können.
